Reply to this post and click the Options Tab to attach a sysex file of Factor Presets you'd like to share. You can extract presets from your pedal using the FactorLib app found on this page. You should zip the .syx file before uploading.

Can the presets posted on this page please be accompanied by the values for the preset as well?

This would be extremely helpful for those of us who have our pedals in locations away from computers for most of the year, such as studios, but could print out the values of the preset to try out in the meanwhile.  This way we can also "try out" each others' presets without committing to overriding one of the presets already saved in our TimeFactor.

Does that make sense?  I appreciate this thread very much and plan to contribute soon.  Need to write down some presets that I have created and bring them back to the computer now. :)

For those of us that are using V3, until we get a new version of FactorLib, sharing presets manually is our only choice. I've posted a few in other threads, but could certainly post some here, too... I'll be looking forward to trying out some new sounds!!

Since us V3 users are waiting for a new version of FactorLib, I thought I'd upload some of the tools that I use to keep track of my presets.

Attached is a zip file containing both a Microsoft Excel '97 format workbook with 3 sheets, one for each of the Factor pedals. Each sheet contains columns for each knob as well as tempo, name, output level, and preset location. I've included another row to enter heel/toe values for the optional expression pedal. I've also included a 3rd row for comments/notes. There is enough space to fit 14 presets on a page.

In case you can't read MS Excel files, I've also included an Adobe PDF version of this file. Both files are otherwise identical.

What I do when programming new presets is print a page of each and write down values as I go. When I'm done, I take those values back to my computer and enter them into the workbook. That way, I've got a written record and an electronic copy. I'm thinking I'll still do this after Eventide releases a new FactorLib, just in case... (you can never have too many backups, right?).

Anyway, I hope someone else can find this useful... it has been for me.

Oops... I think I forgot to mention that the templates I included in the zip file attached to my last post don't contain any settings. Rather, they're blank templates that you can use to keep track of your settings. Just didn't want anyone to download them, then wonder where the settings are... sorry in advance for any confusion.

Very nice! From what I've read about the Liquid Foot and Fractal Audio footcontroller software editors, this is what the FactorLib should be. Once  the TimeFactor version 3 is issued as a non-beta, and the new version of the FactorLib is issued in January (fingers crossed), I'll put this to good use. Thank you.

Hi guys.

Here are some of my presets.  The first few are some that I use in church - The 2nd group for some U2 songs and third misc.  Let me know what you think.
